Solved Saving map before server forced wipe?

Just started my server this month. Spent huge amount time on my server. But my friends tole that rust server will be wiped for every month. Is there a way to save my server? Many thanks!

 

Just download all files you need to save then upload them before restarting the only thing you will need to do is change the last number on the map save to the next highest

change to
proceduralmap.4500.21457845.141.sav

 

Here's my SAV files. So I just save 3 of them before server wiping and change them into 141? Will the buildings and NPCs be kept? Do I need to do copy the 141 file into game before wiping? Where can I see when the server will be wiped? Thanks!

 

you only need to save the one you are using and save all data files but to be honest best to just let it wipe as it will cause problems over time

 

OK! So is there a way just to save one area of t he map. Because all I want the save is the town we built with all kinds of NPCs.

 

There is a copy and paste plugin you can use Copy-Paste for Rust | Oxide

 

and NPC/spawns/waypoints are saved into oxide/data
you need only to use copy/paste to paste your builds.
Remember that if you use /placeback filename, you put the build into the same position saved.
