1. Any of you genius/hosts out there use TCadmin and can tell me why the hell oxide is refusing to extract with RustDedicated_Data/Managed/Assembly-CSharp.dll: Access is denied. error? Its breaking my heart trying to figure it out... Im hosting from linux BTW

Ive played with permissions even tried to manually extract using sudo commands and it just freezes my ftp client..

That means you do not have permission to upload and/or replace those files. Make sure your server is shutdown when uploading, else contact your host.

  3. Bro T.T i am the host.... This is what I meant when i said i have already played with the permissions but im not sure where i am going wrong

Did you shutdown the server first?

Then the only thing that it could be is Linux permissions not allowing that FTP user to upload or replace the files. If you are uploading as a non-root user, you may want to make sure you didn't update the server as root and cause those files on the server to be owned by root.

  7. Im def uploading as a root user, i tried updating the server as root to make sure i had full access(test server only) even tried creating a new server and uploading oxide to see, and what do you know same error. Would i be downloading the incorrect oxide? is there a linux version i need to be installing?

Your error is Linux-related, not Oxide-related. "Access is denied" would mean that the user uploading doesn't have permissions to do so.

  9. I suspected as much, i was just hoping someone knew this error and how to fix. Ive been at this for 2 days lol

What user/group does the FTP client show on the Assembly-CSharp.dll file?

What user are you uploading as via FTP?

  11. its purely super user so it should work.

    partner with v1

  12. I would be admin on TCAdmin , the user group is owned by "tcagame" folder
