Hey guys,
Rather new here with rust hosting but wanting to set-up a local rust server to test some building etc etc and was led here to add oxide to my server so i can also play with some mods aswell. I thought it was a basic install (copy nd paste) but since doing that i am unable to start my server. Just hangs on a blank console window. So did some searching and tryed allot of things mentioned in the forums. Downloaded oxide from here and from github and still nothing. Im pretty sure there wasnt a update for rust today (may have missed it) so thought i would come in and ask for some help. Have uploaded my output.txt and have reverted back to normal so i can continue to test some build theory's

The download for Oxide on the site here and GitHub are the same, the site links to GitHub.
The error appears to be from being outdated in some way, likely using a patched Rust DLL (from Oxide build) with a different Rust server install. Keep in mind that Oxide is only patched for the public/release branch, so using it on another would potentially cause issues. Also make sure to overwrite ALL files when installing/updating Oxide. -
Wow real quick response
Yeh ive overwritten all files when installing it. Im not sure how it could be outdated before i posted this i did a nuke on my server and deleted the server folder and reinstalled everything from scratch. ill keep at it over the next few days before patch on friday, and keep you posted -
