I wanted to inform everyone of you that I'm currently facing an issue with Rust server files on Linux. I started the server couple of days ago on dedicated server and I didn't restart the server at least a once a day and it crashed and it did a rollback back to same as server has been clearly started. Basically it did a full wipe. I don't understand why do we even need the save function in Rust server files if it doesn't even work. My server is saving every 300 seconds and I even see it on console, but on crash it made a full restart back to 04.11 (fresh start of server).
I didn't wanted to restart a server, because of players online due day and night. So I were thinking "Well. If it crashes, then it crashes, it's at least forced restart. We gladly have save on here so it won't rollback.", but basically I was wrong. Now I'm even afraid to run server like 6 hours without restart. If it crashes... does it roll back again 6 hours back on time?

Try before rebooting to use the console command restart 5
That is, if I correctly understand your problem -
Take a look:

I had a similar issue if I had correctly understand your text. -
Restart 5 works fine. If server is closed by pressing (x) on console or it crash it will clean whole server. It will perform a FULL WIPE.
