Reverting drill changes?

I'm really surprised nobody has presented this, or I didn't see it in the short while I skimmed through everything.

I guess I'm curious if there's a way that drills could be changed back to the way they were in previous patches.

I know it wouldn't be exactly the same and it would be a hacky fix.

I put it here instead of requests, because I was just seeing if someone could point me in the right direction, so I could figure it out for myself.

Ive made it on my server. Just use the loot config and search for drill and add the items

 

You can disable the new proximity stuff by just disabling the UseExclusionDistance boolean on the DrillMachine class.
