1. 2 questions,
We have no access now to the old version history v1232 of oxide 2?
The last update give this bug :/ when the oxide is not loaded the server go up and when oxide is loaded the server give this return:

Did you #ifdef UNITY_EDITOR a section of your serialized properties in any of your scripts?
The file 'D:/Jeux/Rust-servers/RustDedicated_Data/resources.assets' is corrupted! Remove it and launch unity again!
    [Position out of bounds!]
The file 'D:/Jeux/Rust-servers/RustDedicated_Data/resources.assets' is corrupted! Remove it and launch unity again!
    [Position out of bounds!]
    OutOfMemoryException: Out of memory*

Idk where that come from this is a fresh install with no setting !!

As mentioned in the PM, the error is unrelated to Oxide, as Oxide doesn't touch any of that. You can't use old builds with new Rust versions either.

  3. for the last update you ALWAYS need the last version of oxide.
going back in oxide versions will most likely NEVER WORK (it can ... but just remember this: NEVER use old builds on oxide, always use the last one)

  4. Hi Wulf i don't understand as Oxide doesn't touch any of that touch of what? ^^ and then resources.assets' is corrupted what to do to solve that Wulf have you an idea?
Ok lot's seem to have the same launch error but some server show up in modded server list !! then why some can up their server and why some have out of memory to these latest updates?
What we need is the solution to go up our server's finally you know :p and our dear's plugins :)
Thank for return explain Reneb I just wanted to return to the version v1232 cause my server won't up with the last oxide and I no longer saw the old history tab.
At time i can only launch without oxide ... waiting for solution

  5. Hi everyone! Please help me!! When I install the oxide into my server, the server stop working. In the console appears one message: The file resource.assets on Rustdedicated_data is corrupted, please remove it and launch it again
I did a reinstall of the server, and a steam updated and my server runs perfectly but after I installed oxide the server stop working and show me that message again and again. I already check other servers and they are running oxide and all the plugins are working...
I tried to remove the file as the message said and the server still not working. I'm running my server now without plugins but It's horrible for the users play without them. If somebody can help me with that would be amazing.

The assets error is from Rust, not Oxide. It means you either have a corrupt Rust server install, or you somehow mixed old and new files. The old solution is to update the server fully and install the correct Oxide version for that Rust version.

I'm not sure what to tell you other than what was previously said. The error isn't something we control. The only possible cause is that the server install has been corrupted somehow, either by an incomplete update, or installing an old Oxide build not meant for that Rust version.

  10. I did a reinstall and the message still when I install oxide:
The file 'C:/TCAFiles/Users/MariaL/6404/RustDedicated_Data/resources.assets' is corrupted! Remove it and launch unity again!
    [Position out of bounds!]
Thanks for all your help anyway guys, I really apreciated that

Which Oxide version are you installing? It's highly likely y our host is providing you an outdated build.

  12. I wrote to my host one minute ago asking if they did the upload of oxide or not....I guess no. I will try to upload it manually, thanks for all your help Wulf ^^

  13. Interesting. Today my Rust server wasnt connectable as it said I had the wrong protocol version, so I updated the rust server - and then replaced the Oxide files, and I got the same issue the moment I launched it. I've always replaced the Oxide version with each Rust update so this is the first time i've seen the error. I rebuilt the server and again the same issue. If I take out Oxide and run it Vanilla, then it starts up fine. So while the error is coming from Rust, it is caused by an Oxide hook.

The Rust release only happened today so I guess there is a new Oxide version to come out today/tomorrow as well.

When you get that error, it's because you are outdated. You're most likely using an outdated Oxide build.

Always check the Updates page before assuming an update works for that version. ;)
