Solved Removing some perms from parent group?

    so i figured if i make a group parent ofd another group all the parent permissions would copy to the child group, but i want to be able to remove some of the child groups perms but it will not let me.. any way i can do it ..

    There's no way to remove permissions from a parent group that only exist in the child group, they are never physically assigned to the parent.

    how do i unparent a group then? or do i need to delete the group..
    is there an easier way to add multi perms instead one by one ...

    I believe you'd just use the command you used to make it the parent, except don't specify a parent at the end. For the permissions, you'd just need to assign them individually if you do not want all.
