Solved Remove own buildings

Be very very careful with the remover tool, It is very easy to exploit.

 

What do you mean? I just want allow players to remove their buildings. Just their, no others.

 

The issue here is that there is no building ownership in Rust, there is only authorization. Allowing a tool like this one means a lucky raider getting to your tool cupboard early in a raid can zap your whole base. Prepare to get a lot of very angry players asking wtf their 20x40x10 castle went if you allow this. The same issue exists with piece-by-piece remove tools as well, unless they are tied to a ownership plugin. I do not know if currently existing remove plugins do this or not.

That's just one of many ways to abuse remove.. IMHO it's a plugin that's best left to admins only or be very limited (1 piece every 12h for example).

I specifically mentioned this in my text to avoid getting exactly this reply Rust does not have ownership but yes there are plugins that do it. I do not know if existing remove tools use those mods.

Anyone who just one cupboard in a 20x40x10 castle deserves to loose it !
You have to have at least one or two cupboards on each level of your "Castle" enclosed in an armoured room with no doors on it, even if a raider gets to half your cupboards they still cannot use remove tool if they are in range of any other authorized cupboard, I have seen raiders complain on chat that they cannot successfully raid a base because they cannot find the "last" cupboard they need to use remove tool.
And BTW anyone who uses anything else but twig stairs and blocks (and has front doors on servers with "t/p") is asking to be raided, the beauty of these is that they dissolve in reaction to close c4/timed explosive use, and if ladders have been disabled on "blocked" buildings they cannot access your upper floors, NO one has yet got to my storage rooms and although I have been raided they have never been successful in "taking" my base
