Hello, I have my own servet with server grade parts, now I was wondering if there is some sort of program or how I can access my server console outside of home, do I need to use rcon, because right now I don't use rcon because I don't know how to set it up and what it's for. Do I need to use rcon for remote access?

Any remote desktop app would work, RCON works fine too.

What about just console access without a remote desktop app, so co-owners can access the server console too sort of like the Rusty Rcon tool, does that work remotely?
-
In a snap I can use the console on playrust.io from my smartphone to get er done.

How is that done?

Android also have a RCON tool.. for rust, its called RustDroid think its £1.75 But works well you.
-
Use RustySpoon Android App it is free and does the job RustDroid just has unneeded fancy stuff.
Else use Rusty a desktop rcon tool for Rust to access rcon -
There are many extensions out there that you can use, but if you have a remote desktop that you use to power up your server, you should be able to connect to it. That's what I do, however I also use Rust:IO just to check on chat and for other commands as well.
