Solved Reloading server save after update?

    Short version is: I've been working on an arena all week, I updated the server and all of that is gone.
    Is there not a way to update without a wipe?
    Is there a way to restore a previous save? if so, do you mind telling me the exact commands? does it go into my batch file?

    Please halp!

    Today's Rust update was a forced map wipe, there's no way to restore the map. You could load the map in an older server version and use a plugin such as Copy/Paste to copy the arena, but otherwise there's no way to get it back.

    That sounds like more trouble than it's worth huh? I'm not sure how to revert the server back to older build to even use copy/paste plugin.

    Thanks for always being on top of things Wulf. I believe you tried to help me the last time I ran into trouble.

    Wulf, or anybody. Please give me a link to an actual manual for an right and full wipe.
    step by step. and what is to be delete and what not. What is UserPersistence.db file for? What is Storage.db file for?

    This has been answered in a few threads, but UserPersistence.db is Rust's blueprint info for players, and Storage.db is signs.
