Solved Referencing dlls in VS

  1. hi, in this link Referencing game/Oxide DLLs in Visual Studio 2015/2017 says that you have to download the files with SteamCMD but my network connection is really slow (0.5 megabit) is there any way to use the server's dlls? or maybe download just the dlls and not all rust again?

Those would be the server’s DLLs.

  3. so the dlls from that link and server's dlls are the same?

You get the server files and DLLs from Steam or SteamCMD.

That zip is just a .bat file and such used to get the server. You still have to actually download the server via Steam or SteamCMD to get the DLLs.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. That tutorial is about referencing DLLs, not running a server. If you're downloading the fully server, you can of course run that server if you'd like from that install for testing if you'd like, but that's not really related to referencing DLLs.

  7. thank you, cause i remember last time i downloaded both, the zip to open the server and the other one to reference the DLLs, i guess i was just being dumb
