I have a customized version of my own just like this that I pieced together for all cubes, and entities, and still allowed damage to Mobs in protected zones. Along with a nobuild zone also. This seems to be the culmination of all those things + more. Great Job.

That players could not damage stations and decor. -
You can add just damageEvent.Entity at the OnEntityHealthChange hook for safe all entities, not only blocks or crests. But for that should be fix mobs damage to player too.

And need check like OutOfZone for trebuchet attack near zone to zone. At zone player cannot damage from trebuchet, but out of zone it possible...
