Preventing DDoS with Linux iptables?

What iptables rules do you use to prevent ddos on ovh.

Iptables will not protect from ddos its only a software fierwall and it can only protect you from small ddos attacks. Better take a look @ nfo server or OVH server. They have a game ddos protection that is hardware based and they can deal with any kind of ddos.
