Not an Issue Plugins not working

Discussion in 'Rust Discussion' started by Brrandonn, May 8, 2015.

  1. I tried to update oxide on streamline servers but it didn't seem to work... I used the steam update on the TCAdmin panel and I uninstalled and re-installed oxide in their mod manager. Any ideas on what Im doing wrong? Im a noob at this!

It's likely they don't have the latest version, but you should check your logs under server/identity/oxide/logs for errors.

  3. The logs are so unorganized I don't even know where to look. The directory you told me to check under doesn't even exist even though it probably should haha.

All of the Oxide primary logs are in that directory, and it's only one per day. The latest one is all you need. Your server identity likely varies, so make sure you are looking under the correct location.

  5. I'm not sure if you have any experience with streamline, but how do I tell when it's they have got the newest version?

Check your logs for the version or run the "version" console command and compare the version against the Downloads page on the site here.

  7. I have oxide installed but when I try the version command in the console, it says "Invalid command"
    Edit: Ill check the logs.
[DOUBLEPOST=1431049310][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok so it's the same version that is on here ( Oxide core v2.0.858 ) . Any ideas why the plugins aren't working?

Upload your full log here for me to check please. I can't really tell without seeing what's going on.

  9. Im going to upload it into a pastebin if thats alright, too long to post in the code format here.
    Edit: Here it is http://pastebin.com/V1teZ7TT
If thats not the right log let me know because there is a few more on the same date and close to the same time.

Stop your server, run the Rust / Steam updater, then install the latest Oxide again. If you still have errors, please provide me with an update log.

  11. Alright thanks for all of your help so far!
