Plugins 0kb when uploading via FTP

    Whenever I try to modify a plugin or any other file through my FTP, the file just changes it size to 0kb and can't be modified again, does anyone have a solution for this?

    That sounds like a permission issue with your host.

    Turns out my host works like this:
    If I modify or write to the FTP server, or even reload a plugin, the server stops responding and restarts.

    That should never happen, but I'd check your logs for errors.
