Players freezing when opening a loot box

about 40% of my players ( 2 servers ) are reporting random 3-9 second freezes when looting a box or body, is this a Rust thing or a bad plugin that did not get updated yet?

 

Its random tho... i cant simply remove all plugins, i tried removing a few suspects but no go. like QuickSort. Im just looking for confirmation that other owners are experiencing the same. I already posted on Facepunch

 

You are not alone.

People are having small lag when looting a box. ( I have plugins but not to many : lootconfig for drops )

 

Probably just the memory leak.. Rust fills your memory up to max -2 gigs approx from what I've seen and then it gets super laggy.

 

So it is memory leak and therefore a Rust issue.

It'd be terrible to assume it's a RAM issue rather than a plugin issue. If 40% of his players are experiencing this, we'd be assuming they all have under 4GB's of RAM. I would do what Wulf said, a test by removing certain plugins and go over your logs possibly.
