i have setup my dedicated server correctly but no one can join it, everything we have tried it just comes up with invalid command in the console, i can join fine though client.connect localhost:28015 but no one else can join, i have also port forwarded ports 28015 and 28016 if i am missing something how do i set it up so people can join me?

Localhost usually implies self-hosted.
It sounds like you don't actually have those ports forwarded, or you are trying to set server.ip to the wrong value. Generally if you are hosting locally, that doesn't need to be set, only the ports forwarded to your server machine.
