Players can't connect to my server

Well the other day i was playing on my server setting it up for it to go live well me and a friend were on it and now when he tries to enter he cant. i have the port forwarding right and i have tried just about everything i could to get it to work again. i dont even see him trying to log in on the console. i dont know if this has anything to do to it but at the time my wife had to reset the modem and i did a few things in permission and thats about it. i cant figure it out and i would really like some help if possible. for more information please just post on here and ill do my best to help.

 

Post what you have in your bat file.
Post what you have done in your router.
If you have windows firewall on did you change anything in there.
Do you have a software firewall if so what one
I dont use this game but this info might help others to help you

 

I think i figured out what it was. when the wife reset the router it also gave me a new IPc4 address so in turn i didnt have the right ip the the port forwarding. im going to see if i can find someone to jump on my game real quick and if it works ill let you know if it doesnt ill post all info you asked for.

 

give your computer a static ip address, that should stop that from happening again
