Sounds like you're outdated somehow with Rust.

  3. @Wulf Happening on multiple servers with me.

Sounds like you're outdated somehow with Rust then. I'd verify that you're using the latest Rust and Oxide builds.

  5. I am running Rust build 1100.98 (dated 12/15/2016). @Dummiesman's server (the one I'm on) is running Oxide build 2.0.2835.

  6. On Rust 1100.98 , server is on 1100.98

    Code:
    > oxide.version
    Oxide 2.0.2835 for Rust 1100.98 (1935)

Are you sure Rust is fully updated? To me it looks like you've somehow got one build of Rust installed and then installed a different version through Oxide on top of that.

  10. Here are the results of verification. As stated above, on the latest Oxide version.

Getting another friend who has a server to test on his as well.

Okay, but is your Rust install 100% updated? The issue I am seeing is that it looks like you're somehow using mismatched Rust files.

  12. Steam says there are no pending updates for Rust. Restarted Steam & launched Rust just now as well.

EDIT: Friend on a fresh start from Steam (indicating he has no pending updates), and a fresh Oxide install, also gets RPC kicked. (Separate server than the one I'm getting kicked from for the same reason)

  13. I'm also getting kicked on fresh oxide install, and latest steam update for rust.

What exactly are you testing with to reproduce it? I can't reproduce it with any weapons.

  15. Figured it out. The issue resides with the server owner(s). They need to update their RustDedicated via steamcmd again. Total derp on my end + others getting the error :p

Sorry for the waste of time, Wulf D:

  16. I was testing with a standard assault rifle and shooting it randomly when the error occurs, also to be exact rifle.ak is the item code

Yeah, can't reproduce it with that. Pretty sure your server is still somehow outdated with Rust. Try deleting the steamapps folder and doing a forced update with validate.

  18. Mine says 258550 already up to date?

    woops forgot to add this
