People wont join server or can't

Ok, i made a server about a month ago and i rarely get people on, i dont know if its that they cant or wont, if its wont any tips on getting your server popular and if its they can't any idea why?Anyone else having this problem?

 

Pretty much everyone. Too many servers, not enough players and players tend to naturally flock to active servers. It's really hard to start from nothing. Try listing on toprustservers.com, add it on reddit/r/playrustservers and offer a mod setup that draws in people. A good server name goes a long way too.
