Solved Oxide will not install (autoupdate was enabled)

    Hi all,

    it seems oxide wont intall itselfs. It worked before the update from yesterday.

    The server is on my own pc. I followed the steps of setting up an rust server.

    Adding Oxide 2 to the server
    Download the latest Oxide 2 build that is compatible with your server version first. Once you've downloaded the latest build, extract it to the folder where RustDedicated.exe is located and overwrite when prompted. This will add the required Oxide 2 files and the modified Rust files which will load Oxide 2.

    I have done all the above!

    No oxide folder wil be formed. i restarted the server several times.

    Any ideas?

    If the server starts fine, but Oxide is not loaded, that means Oxide is not actually installed. This often happens when you do an update after installing Oxide. Oxide is a mod, so it needs to always be installed after updates.

    Thank you very much. i found the problem.
    In the starting bat file i put a line for searching for updates.
    So every time i started the server its did an update.

    So i think its fixed.
