Oxide.show not working

I have just rented a new server with a host I have not used before and installed oxided with their tool. I have created groups, assigned members to groups and plugin permissions. The oxide files themselves show that the permissions are set to the correct groups. However, the command 'oxide.show group admin', or whatever group, does not return any result. Also, in game if say 'vanish.use' is assigned to admin, then the default group can also use it, if 'vanish.use' is assigned to no group then no one can use it. This applies to all plugins using the permission system but plugins that use auth level like admin radar work as intended.

This is when using RustAdmin tool for rcon commands. When connecting with the same tool with the same command and same group setup to my older exisiting host the command works fine and returns the result with ingame working permissions also working as intended.

I have tried to reinstall oxide and the host has even reinstalled the server files, however the problem is still there and the host suggested asking here.
