Hello, @Wulf I'm new to development for RUST and I had ordered a server from SurvivalServers.com.
They made it easy to install Oxide and all and the only server location they were able to give me was Germany, I switched to Seattle later on but if you switch servers it deletes all of the files that were modified by me and re-installs a new directory for the Server FTP. My issue is that I ran through a backup for Oxide that i had before I switched locations and now the server loads with Oxide installed in the directory, However Oxide does not load in with the server when It starts up and considers it as a Community server.
I dont know if I did anything wrong, I have tried removing all of the plugins and data and even clean slated oxide back into the directory but whenever I add a new plugin it just wont load them nor Oxide. Oxmin does not seem to work much either.
Solved Oxide not running with server (not installed)

If Oxide is not starting, then Oxide is not installed. If you run any updates, Oxide has to be installed after as it is a mod. Oxmin is also an Oxide 1.18 only plugin, so it will not work with Oxide 2.0.

@Wulf I do have a clean slated and updated server at the moment. Is it possible that the remaining plugins need to be updated before I could apply them to the server? Or do previous plugins work with the latest Oxide update.

Well I would feel more comfortable if it would be possible for me to give you temporary access to the FTP in order to look further into this issue, At this moment I am inexperienced to development to a rust server.

So, I'd recommend shutting down the server, running the Steam update, then installing Oxide again, but don't run Steam update after installing Oxide. Once it is all installed, start the server again and check the 'oxide.version' console command via RCON. If you get info and not "command not found", then it is installed.Last edited: Dec 30, 2015 -
Alright, I'll reply to this thread about what I find.
[DOUBLEPOST=1451512893][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay, I updated steam and re-installed Oxide in that order, I'm going to see if I can check the version now.
