Not an Issue Oxide link is outdated

  1. Your servers Oxide build is older then the current build '3800'

    Yet im on version 2.0.3795

    Ive noticed this a few times in the past as well.

    Ive updated oxide using the download link at top of forums

    That is a newer build, but it hasn't been posted yet.

    SmoothRestart does/can check the latest Gitbub release only.
    But not all releases mean the are needed, or posted like Wulf said...Mainly you should only take care of an patch-days while runtime of the plugin.

  5. My provider doesn't pick up the latest oxide when the version # has a typo. They rely on scripts and there's only 1 human there who has access necessary to manually update.
    I'm not sure if related.

    What typo? The version number is incremented automatically, not manually typed.

    I think maybe this is why. But they tell me their auto update oxide scripts not working because protocol version listed. Sorry I didn't mean oxide version

    That is the Rust protocol and unrelated to Oxide. It doesn’t always get updated.
