I have looked at other threads on this website and it seems to work for other people but it will not for me,
what I would do is;
1 run the server
2 run the server in game
3 close out rust and stop the server
4 extract the oxide folders to the RustDedicated_Data and overwrite the files
5 run the server again?
The only problem now is the oxide folder does not show up like so in tutorials also the my_server_identity and _start-example .bat files are not there either. if anyone can help me or call out any mistakes I would greatly appreciate it.

See Oxide directory location and configuration changes | Oxide. It changed over half a year ago to be in the root.
