Well after thursday update the ore nodes started re-spawning in the sea after they depleted. I have now updated the server with fridays patch but I'm not sure whether they are still spawning in the sea or not as I'm blowing them up with C4 because I'd really rather not wipe the server.
My question: Does friday patch ore node spawning if we keep a map generated on Thursday or is a wipe/new map required for the fix to take affect?

Ore nodes still in sea.
[DOUBLEPOST=1430533690,1430521091][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok it worked after I restarted server. The command deleted all the ores and they respawned on land. I did not need to wipe in the end.
Solved Ore nodes in sea

Hm doesn't seem to be working on my server. To clarify, you installed the hot-fix patch released Friday afternoon? Then you ran the command, restarted, and it worked?
-
did "del autospawn/resource/ores"
came back with "couldn't find autospawn/resource/ores" -
-
that's not the name of the ores
don't remember them ...
something like autospawn/resources/ores1
maybe? -
tried with
autospawn/resources/ores
autospawn/resources/ores1
autospawn/resources/ores/stone-ore
autospawn/resources/ores/sulfur-ore
autospawn/resources/ores/metal-ore
nopewelp back to underwater bombing runs
[DOUBLEPOST=1430560658][/DOUBLEPOST]Edit:
the command is
del autospawn/resource/ores (notice the missing s)
maybe a little reading training should help me in future avoid such things - thx mates
but entering it into the ingame console did´t help, had to use it in the web console of the serverLast edited by a moderator: May 2, 2015 -
Hm I've run all these commands and still the rocks are underwater, same spots. I'll keep trying.

I seem to be running into the same issue. I've ran this command and restarted several times to no avail.
I did a server update just for the heck of it and it changed from:
Deleted autorespawn/resource/ores/stone-ores
Deleted autorespawn/resource/ores/metal-ores
Deleted autorespawn/resource/ores/sulfur-ores
to:
Deleted 50xx objects.
Restarted and I still have them on the ocean floor.
EDIT: I'm beginning to think the issue with me restarting the server and the ores are in the ocean because of an old map save. Are you supposed to restart the server or just let the nodes respawn on their own?
[DOUBLEPOST=1430865149,1430852605][/DOUBLEPOST]It is indeed due to restarting the server. DO NOT RESTART YOUR SERVER after running the command. Give it about 15 minutes and everything will respawn on land fine. -
Ok so does this mean you have to just keep spamming the command over and over to get rid of all the ore nodes in the water? I've sat for the last 45 minutes using this in Rusty, since it won't work in the console, and when I tele to the nodes alot are still in the water. Waited far longer then the 15 minutes or so and people still state nothing has spawned around the map. The server however has not been restarted yet.
del autospawn/resource/ores - The command I'm usingLast edited by a moderator: May 7, 2015 -
Yeah, I have tried this command every which way and nothing is working. Anyone have the correct command?
http://radmin.elasticbeanstalk.com/item/list/approved/consumable/
lists the ores as:
stones
metal_ore
sulfur_ore -
Quoting someone from Facepunch forums:
@Whip It try running this command in Rusty. -
Anyone know if there is a command for the barrels?
-
del autospawn/resource/loot/loot-barrel
-
the commands work fine for me but i dont no if they are respawning.. not seem them so far after 10minits
-
wait till at least 1 day/night cycle passes in game, then go look around. if they are still spawning under water or not spawning at all something is not right. do not restart the server after the commands, or the old save with rocks still underwater might get loaded.
