Setting up a Rust server is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. After buying the server all you have to do
to get mods is install Oxide, in this case there are many videos on Youtube about how to do this. Take your time and don't rush for the best results. Good Luck!
I got a server from Survival Servers and i got Rusty installed and WINSCP..For some reason i cannot get my server
to update.. when trying to connect its saying that the server is out of date.
I got some plugin's installed but i cannot get them to work and do not understand how to update server.
Really just wanting a server with Zombies, Map, x10 or so gathering, fast craft, teleport and notifications.
I'm unsure of what control panel Survival Servers use, but is there any kind of error thats stated when you try to update, other than being told that the
server's out of date as this tells us nothing. Also when attempting to update, ensure you give the server ample time to contact to the update server alongside actually
checking you're using the right feature to update the server. Alternatively you could contact Survival Servers Support.
As for learning to run and add modifications to your server, people on this forum will be willing to help you with the basics and you can find further assistance for
specific plugins by commenting on them too.
