My server isn't showing in the server list

i just made a server and would like to know how to add my server to the official rust server list
i have added it to a website for rust servers.

 

You hostng it locally?

it wasnt now it is

you could put it all in your server.cfg file and in your bat file put -cfg "server/server.cfg"

 

Was thinking about legacy or seen it on some site cant remember

I just want to know some things here:

1. Have you been able to get a friend to connect to your server using the F1 console successfully?
   - If not, try... if it does not work then your firewall rules are very broken.
   - The command i think is: 'client.connect IPADDRESS:SERVERPORT' (replace them accordingly)
   
   
2. Have you tried to get a friend to add the server to the Steam Favorites list, and it return the servers information successfully?
   If your friends server list does not show the server information, but instead just shows the IP Address and Port listed, then your firewall rule is not correct either.

 

iv gotten a friend to join and do not know how to add favorites on rust

 

On the steam client: (your friend does this)

1. Right click the steam icon by the system clock
   
2. Click Servers
3. Goto the Favorites tab
4. Click Add Server
5. Type in the WAN IP Address and Port to your server
6. Click Add
7. Does it appear?
8. PROFIT!
