  1. DumbleDora submitted a new resource:

Mute - gives adminsa /mute and /unmute for players in chat

  2. What's the permission command? So i can give it to other groups?

  3. this will mute only the text chat or the voice chat too?

  4. I'm not sure who is suppose to have permissions to this plugin. I, as the owner, seems to have permissions to it. I'm not sure why I inherently do. How would I go about dispersing permissions?

  5. Give them the "admin" permission, I don't know why the author chose that one but he did..

  6. The Admin permission for Oxide?

  7. yes grant the user the admin permission, not the admin group but the admin permission. It is only used by this plugin and like I said I have no idea why the author used it.

  8. The plugin allows all those with Oxide 'Admin' permission to use it yes.
Originally it had a config file where users could specify whoever they want to use it - however plugins that don't require config files are generally more well regarded as there users don't have to go and edit them or the script.
To be honest, server's should have properly set up Oxide permissions folders as other plugins will most likely follow this route, so it may be a good thing to do now.

Currently this only does normal chat ingame. Once my exams are over I intend to make it also mute /o and /whisper commands incase servers also use those plugins, and then I plan to investigate muting voice chat also

  9. Would it be possible to add a timer for the mute? like /mute xxx name for minutes. That way it auto-unmutes them after their sentence is up. It's a real hassle to do it manually, especially since there are no names in the muted list.

  10. whats the command to give someone else the admin premission

[DOUBLEPOST=1434067404][/DOUBLEPOST]the problem is its only giving me the premission to use it no matter what name i select when using oxide.grant

Yes, I saw that, but the plugin still appears to use Reign of Kings system, not Oxide's.

  15. ok so give permission - 'admin' or does it only give perms to - '*'

Adding * or admin to your Reign of Kings permissions.cfg should work.

  17. confirmed - 'admin' gives them perms to use this but doesnt give them all admin commands

/mute and /unmute both use the "admin" permission, verified in the file.
