1. I used to be able to make a rust server fairly easily but now it seems a lot more complicated.
    1. everyone says oxide provides a run_ds batch file. However, I don't see it when I downloaded it the other day.

Oxide does not provide that file and it isn't related to Oxide, that is something you'd need to make.

  3. Great. Thank for your response. Was hopeing to message you but this works equally.

Could you give me an example file? or just make with notepad and it's as easy as that.

You can see an example here: OxideMod/Oxide.Rust

  5. Made you a quick one edit it with notepad++ and change what is needed

    Attached Files:

    • bat.bat
      File size:
      742 bytes
      Views:
      10
  6. So now its a matter of changing from running "rustdedicated" application file to my own batchfile that has my server properties in place?

  7. You are meant to make and run your own bat file this is how its always been done you never ever use the RustDedicated to start the server the bat file starts it the correct way

  8. ok thank you so much. Been over a year since I did this.
