Hi there, developers and skilled players.
I'm administrator of one russian popular server and now i'm trying to install clear version of ROK server at new dedicated server with Windows 2008 R2 Standart.
First of all i installed all needed programs like Winrar, Filezilla, Notepad + and others.
Then i downloaded SteamCMD, run it and launch .bat file with this text:
start C:\rok_server\steamcmd.exe +login my_login my_password +force_install_dir "C:\rok_server\ROK" +app_update 344760 validate +quit
After that i installed last versions of DirectX, Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft .NET Framework.
Then i can see this (screenshot): http://bkayne.ru/screenshots/WNCHRC.png
Or in text:
[X] NullReferenceException: Ссылка на объект не указывает на экземпляр объекта.
в CodeHatch.GameServer.StartProcess()
в CodeHatch.GameServer.Connect()
в CodeHatch.GameServer.Start()
в CodeHatch.Program.Main()
Please help me to launch ROK server at new dedicated server.

WinRAR isn't needed for setting up a Reign of Kings server. What are you using Filezilla for if your server is local?
Also, if you are planning on using Oxide, do not use "validate" in your startup, else you will always be vanilla/unmodded. -
Wulf, hello. I told about all soft i had installed on server, but that doesn't matter.
Main problem with launching server.exe and i hope you or other developers can help me with this problem.
[X] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at CodeHatch.GameServer.StartProcess()
at CodeHatch.GameServer.Connect()
at CodeHatch.GameServer.Start()
at CodeHatch.Program.Main()
I see this error every time i trying to launch server.exe from ROK folder. -

Firstly, I'd change your password and recommend removing the video. Second, I'm not sure what's causing that error, but I'd check for any duplicate processes under Task Manager to start with, then go through the install steps again. It doesn't appear to be related to Oxide.

Yes, it doensn't belongs to Oxide, but i think here it is the best community of ROK skullful administrators.
I can give all TeamViewer login and passwords after dialogie and then pay about 5-10$ after solving my problem.

Are you using any startup script with Server.exe? Have you tried using ROK.exe instead of Server.exe?

Don't use. Thanks.
