1. So I added myself to ownerid, noclipped, made a restart, now I'm not in the user.cfg file but i have added myself to ownerid like 10 times alerady. I do not have any permission to do any command pretty much, and I added myself to the owner rank. So I have no clue what am I doing wrong or anything..

TL:DR I used to have all the permissions possible but after restart I don't..

Oxide's permission system is unrelated the Rust's ownerid, the user.cfg and noclip. If you ran those commands in the console but did not save them using server.writecfg and then restarted, that would be why it was not saved. This is all discussed in the stickied thread on admin in Rust under this forum section.

  3. writecfg in rcon after you will add yourselfe to ownerid, then readcfg and reconnect,.,,

Those commands aren't right, just FYI. ;)

  5. Fuck, I was stupid enough and didn't reconnect after I gave myself ownerid, btw is there any way to see what permissions a group already has?

    Oxide permissions? show group GROUPNAME

  7. Yeah i forgot that its writecfg and readcfg without dot ;) My bad - will edit :p

  8. ownerid steamid64 "player name" "Owner"
    Then
    server.writecfg
    Then relog
    easy as that

  9. I Still don't have ALL permissions tho, like there are some plugins I can only do from Rcon, is there some way to give the group "admin" ALL permissions? like I remember in minecraft there was something like -*- and that gave the group all permissions ever possible?

  10. What group are you in

  11. Admin.

  12. Well as you have founder in your betterchat would be best if you remove yourself from the admin group and add yourself to the founder group then add all permissions to the founder group

  13. So I have to add all permission one by one? Or is there like a shortcut to pretty much give me ALL permissions?

  14. There is a shortcut but I find its better to add each permission to each group yes it does take longer but it does work better
