1. After a lot of tickets with my server host, I've been trying to work out what could be causing my server to lag. they suggested I take out my plugins one by one to find which one could be causing issues, but since my server has a pretty steady population, I figured it would be a bit more beneficial to post here and see which(if any) of my plugins could be causing rubberbanding or lag. All my plugins are up to date, and I get almost no errors when the lag is occuring. Here's a list of the plugins I'm currently running:
I get no warning or errors from any of them except VoteChecker, which is only showing a warning when someone calls upon the plugin (on login or by command), and from QuickSort, which only occasionally says that OnPlayerLoot is a depreciated hook, which from what research I've done is more or less benign. Any help or advice on where I should start would be a tremendous help and greatly appreciated.

It really doesn't, it barely runs anything. The only time it does anything is when a player opens a door, then does a basic timer for that single door, then it is doing nothing until another door is opened. If your server can't handle a single timer for a few seconds, I'm amazed that it is even hosting Rust.

  5. It's not the host. my cpu usage and memory usage are usually pretty low, even with high traffic. My average population is about 40-60 players, and it doesn't seem to make any difference whether there are more or fewer players on when it happens. My best guess is that it's something that is consistently running in the background, since it seems to be fine after a restart, and most days its not an issue, but probably once or twice a week I have to restart the server once more on top of my daily restart to help fix it. My host is FPSPlayers, and I've discussed this issue with them on more than one occasion, and it's very unlikely that the lag is due to the host, since they have been a great host, and have been more than helpful with dealing with any server-side issues I happen to run across. I've hosted with them from the start, and within the 7 months I've been operating the server, I've only started experiencing this lag within the last few Rust updates. Also, if anyone thinks it could be due to something else, and would like any other information please don't hesitate to ask I'd be more than happy to provide it so long as this problem eventually gets fixed :D

    1. I would turn off updated and ping until you need them rename them and put ".offline" on the end.
    2. What do your logs show on plugin times?
    3. What does your network traffic chart show?

  6. If you have 150 players on a server with many doors in there base being opened and closed all the time and many at the same time it will cause lag to a point

  7. Ketzen.co.uk is doing awesome job , i have that host , i have 50 + plugins . And no lags with 70 players online ;)) so i would recommend it - ketzen.co.uk

  8. You use NoDecay. Whats your gatherrate? And how much entities you got? Mostly ist a Problem with your entity amount. This can cause huge lag(Spikes).

  9. Gather rate is 5 times. Current entity count is 99, 140.
