Kicked while joining my server, auth timed out

    I start my rust server, it is updated and everything in oxide, it just says connecting then times out and says something ab auth level. i turned off auth level and still problems. Vanilla rust private server works fine. oxide doesnt. need help please!

    Oxide doesn't change how you connect to the server, so you may want to check that your server is actually starting and using a compatible Oxide build. The best place to start would be your RustDedicated_Data/output_log.txt.

    could you possibly join my discord ive tried everything...

    Okay so the problem is when i join it says negotiating then it says auth timed out.

    When ever i go to join my hamachi oxide rust server, it says negotiating connection then says couldnt join cuz of auth level or something and i look in the console and it says athora was kicked auth level 2, even tho im the owner. im confused what is going on, this has happened before in the past since rust started adding the new console. Please reply any help is thankful.

    Sounds like your server can't connect to Steam to authenticate (unrelated to Oxide, this is managed by Rust), which is likely from being behind Hamachi.
