1. So, i seen a person in my server talking in chat and his text was purple. So i looked at chat logs and noticed he was using BBCODE.

So in game hit T then do [color #ff0000] then text ---

So above example would come out red...

**** Please be careful as most people are not aware of this and admins may ban you...************

If Rust even allows that, it's not supposed to be as it's generally patched out every time it reappears.

  3. Well it came up, then i tried it and it worked.. so i guess it came up and is allowed for now..

  4. Try it on a server with an active admin and I'm sure you'll eat a fat ban or warning. People don't appreciate it very much.

  5. If it becomes a serious problem I'll put a patch into oxide to remove the ability to use colors in chat and restrict it to just plugins until rust puts a fix in to remove it.

  6. @Hatemail I don't think it's that serious a problem as I've never encountered it on my servers. Although I think it would also be handy for admins to push out a message that's more easily readable.

  7. i have been hit all day with this issue seems the people responsible are fully aware that it is banneable and there just causing trouble

  8. I saw color in server name now, how they do that ?

It's Rust. Colors come and go with each patch. :p

  10. I suspect the server lists to start looking like rainbows... haha

  11. Thats already started and annoying.

  12. Sorry for bump, but players can write color messages. Use oxide 1.18, color is not restricted for only-plugin use.
    Help?
