Improve?!?!?!? Loots already hella good, unless you on a mega loot or high gather server...

 

Agree, the heli is too op, and really easy to take down. But oh well, people like it easier.

 

Hardly OP since the amount of stuff you get is hardly even worth the bullets. Also BetterLoot screws up the loot and make it like any other rad town crate.

 

You can try LootConfig to adjust the default droplist, the heli crate was added recently.

I added optional loot config to HeliControl, but BetterLoot will override it.

 

BetterLoot is a nice plugin, but it really really really lacks distinction between different types of loot containers... This was always the case but these new high-quality loot crates make this situation much more obvious. So long as you are going to use BetterLoot you're going to have to live with this fact unless the author or you or someone else does something about it.

If I'm not mistaken the author abandoned the project and it's been kept on the artificial respirator by the Oxide team because of it's popularity. I used to have a plugin for Legacy that was like BetterLoot but with control over all types of containers but I really don't have the time or will to redo it at this point.

One thing you could do however is to use Cornucopia instead of BetterLoot. It won't affect the contents of the containers, it just allows you to spawn some of them randomly on the map. In the end, it's more or less equivalent depending on how many of them you add.

 

I didn't realize that BetterLoot was abandoned. Since it is refreshing containers over time there's nothing to really be done except not use BetterLoot, like you said. I personally don't use it. I was just saying that I added a loot config option to HeliControl, and it seems to be copacetic with LootConfig, but not BetterLoot.
