Hacker in my rust server

Ive had a server for about a month and ive never seen this before. Basically, he joined my game when i wasnt online then i connected to my server and i did /players.. His name was basically squares.. He was flying around and blowing peoples bases up and taking their stuff.. His steam account is http://steamcommunity.com/id/vxvelitevxv/ I coudlnt ban him either because his name was non existent... Just so ya know watch out for him! I heard hes been in a bunch of servers also!

 

Thanx for informing the community, but lemme give you few advices.
1. Try to report here: https://twitter.com/rusthackreport
2. Who needs a name? Console -> status -> banid [ID]
2.1 He quit? Look in oxide\data\oxide.users.json (or in logs) and then banid [ID]

 

just copy his steam-id and use this instead of the name

Also a general rule I use. I don't allow any players with VAC bans into my server. There is multiple ways of doing so, but check out the VACKicker plugin. Works well!

Again, not every hacker has a vac ban, but you can bet everyone with a vac ban is a cheater (within reason) Don't jump on me for saying this, if you have a ban, i'm sure you probably earned it, you know it.
