Stack-Size Controller & More (In-game UI) *Done better?*
I know the plugin itself already exists. But have you seen the list you've gotta go through? Oh boy... if I have to go down that list one more time I might tear my own head off! Wouldn't it be so lovely if there was a beautiful UI-based version of this plugin? One that had all the items displayed on one scroll-able list, probably in two columns, and just be able to configure it in-game? Even better, filter tabs! [All] [Weapons] [Construction] [Items] [Resources] [Attire] [Tools] [Medicals] [Food] [Ammunition] [Traps] [Components] [Obsolete], and just be able to mass set, say, all [Resources] to be stacks of 10,000 (for example). You'd go to the [Resources] tab in-game, and at the top there'd be a "set all..." option to whichever designated number you select, or if-possible, type in. And I know there's a separate plugin that lets you designate storage container stack-sizes. This could be included within this plugin as well! Things that are separate that should really be together, should... really be together, haha.

A user interface for something that should only be changed once is almsot useless. Personally I made a version where you can set category or attribute specitic multipliers which seems to be a lot easier and more consistent. If you'd like to do that I can help you.

There is no user-interface for the current Stack-Size controller. I'm suggesting one. Any screenshots of what you're custom edition?

i enjoy this idea, as for

It's not going to be used just once though; maybe you'll only use it once, but I know for a fact that I've messed around with stack-sizes countless times, and the current method of doing so is just extremely half-assed. Having a user-friendly platform to work with, for something that's extremely tedious, is a great reward, let alone whatever compensation the developer will be getting for making it.

a GUI would be setup the same way as categorizing, except instead of having to restart every time to edit the json, you can in the game.

Everything YOU have to say on the matter is also poor argument, tbh. (It's too much work)
This is a request for someone to make it.
If you're not that person, then I see no reason to continue arguing if it's a good idea or not. -

"and not worth it"
Your opinion, lol.
I, for one, would call it worth it.
Lucky for me, this is a request thread.
You've made your point/opinion. -
Wow, cool admins, cheel =) No need to be so rude. By my pov - @Kappasaurus is totally right, this plugin is useless. Actually - all the UI based plugins are orientiered to usual players, but not to admins/moders/whatever. If u are admin of the server, u have to be prepared to some difficult (i dont think so actually) things, such as editing configs/plugins to ur own need. Just because if administrator of da server doesnt know how to control everything on his project - there are no reason to start this project...
P.S. List of stackSizes is not so huge - u just havent met custom loot tables yet eksdee. -
That's just the thing though... This isn't a "I want to know what you guys think about my request" thread. It baffles me that some people feel so entitled that they need to chime in and tell someone their idea/request is "useless" or basically call it a dumb idea. That's not what this thread is here for. It's a request; plain and simple. If you're not about it, then move along. Simple. Not being "rude," being straight forward. And by all means, continue to use the config file; no one's asking you to use my idea when/if it's completed, but I like progress so I'm sticking with it.
Even though it's another topic completely, yes, I have seen and currently use custom loot tables (Alpha Loot). Those are also a nightmare that I hope someday will have a more user-friendly way of configuring; but baby steps. Rome wasn't built in a day.Last edited by a moderator: Apr 1, 2018
