If your host provides full server access via FTP.

  3. They state it's full FTP, but I am still new to this :). Should I drag the whole zip folder of the new oxide into my plugins folder, Wulf?

Just the contents, not the zip itself, go in the server root, not the plugins folder.

  5. Okay, so the Folder and the Four files into where RustDedicated.exe is located?

    Yup, that'd be the place.

  7. I'm guessing my host lied because when I did that It said that some stuff was banned on that server, critical file transfer error and whatnot? 5 failed transfers and it did not even finish in the end it looks like..

Make sure the server is stopped before uploading too, but it very well may be not allowed.

  9. seems kinda odd that they have not updated their own control panel yet so I wouldent ahve to do this on my own, but i'll give it a shot..

So i tried to stop the server and do as said and it is saying that it could not start transfer on what seems to be CSharpCompiler.exe ?

Wondering if its just me or is it my server provider, they claim to have full FTP access (Survival Servers) but when I follow the steps to install the oxide update via FTP it keeps giving me errors? such as could not start transfer? I was fine before the update

Most likely your host doesn't allow some filetypes, so you'd need to contact them.

  11. Thanks Wulf, I guess I'll have to make a better choice next time hmm ;)
