Friends can connect but I can't

I made a dedicated server using RSM. At first, I thought I did something wrong since I could not connect. But then my friend was able to connect to the server. Something was off, because the actual server showed up when you searched for it. I'm now certain I did everything correctly, since my friend can join. But how come I cant. Please help, this is very irritating.

Are you renting a server from a host or running it from a home pc

 

Oh, I am running it on my own computer.

 

Then to login to the server you need to either add it to your fav or type connect 127.0.0.1: port < replace with port being used
