1. Was wondering if anyone knows of a plugin that changes to ownership rights to whoever lays the foundation. Base Stealing with the latest Rust update is way too easy unless you change the cupboard radius. Mainly i want to get rid of cupboard and tie the function to foundations.

  2. Plz what dou you define as "Base stealing"?
Who ever currently sets a block, does own that block, thats has not changed with the latest rust update.
Cupboards where only introduced into game to prevent many raiding situations. They do not change any ownwership or give any rights to remove something.

  3. I would like to see the radius/ function of the cupboard to build tied to said foundation and other connected foundations not a cupboard. lets say they get access to cupboard, they can build and block me off from rights. now if the same function of the cupboard was foundation they would have to destroy all connecting foundation to get access to the area. Doing this could also be a good thing for servers that want to run the remove plugin.

  4. ...if the same function of the cupboard was foundation... ??
The cupboards function is simply to give rights or block you to build in any area. having access or destryoing it does give anyone the rights to build, and to maybe rebuild your base or to block you, so far thats right. But was has this to do with the remove plugin?
The RemoverTool for Rust (not legacy) uses recommended options with BlockOwnerShip. This means, with the right settings, only those can remove who have built those blocks.

  5. let me explain this in lamen terms. In Rust Legacy the legit first Rust the ownership and radius was done with foundations and not an entity. It would be nice for the new Rust to have this function. GET RID OF CUPBOARDS

  6. I suggest you came direct this day from Legacy!!! And you do not know yet what Cupboards are used for.

They have nothing to do with ownership rights. What you mean is, that if someone builds direct onto your base, that this building block (foundation or enything else) does gets the ownership of the former/primary building owner/creator.
In Legacy this was mainly used to prevent raiding by shooting in remove mode the newly built stuff from raiders away to protect your home. Some called it remove-abuse, some called it normal gameplay...I call it 100% Abuse.

But, and here comes mainly your understanding problem: Rust has no such RemoverTools more, you need to be near that building part you want to remove. Even when you would have a Mod/Plugin, which changes the ownership like Legacy style, your will 100% not have luck with any server without cupboards.

Cupboards were introduced to protect from being raided ;)
Hopefully it was lame term enough to understand :p

  7. Again your off the subject at hand. Removal tool is not being used, that is what your assuming. Im just saying the cupboard= hey they can have rights if the get to it. i just would like to see that my base cant be acquired by others, that is why me and many others would like to see the cupboard not exist and ownership being foundations. Fuck Remove tool i dont use it as the Admin should be the only one with this feature... ex. the uber hatchet in legacy or the magic hammer in Experimental.

With the current nerf of the cupboard being limited to ground floor or first they do not protect much below now, even though you place many on these levels having more entities is not a good thing, it kind of sloppy and just makes players make many unnecessary cupboards. By making the foundations the ownership... guess what there is already many foundations no need for many random ass cupboards, less entities on a full 100 man server. Just seems more efficient for the foundations to have the ownership.

I dont want to have to use my Cupboard radius fix, we would just like to see a more permanent fix by making the foundation the ownership. whoever lays it owns it.

  8. Essentially as I see it. You want to take the cupboards out completely and make it so only the owner of the first placed foundation to have access to expanding the base ect. I would say unless they were added to a friends list with gave them the ability to expand?

  9. finally someone that understands, yeah same concept on how it was done in Legacy, just add to friend list.

  10. From what I recall, anyone could build on a foundation/base in Legacy. Are you just wanting it so removing the base is limited to the technical owner, the one who placed it? If so, I think that already exists in Remover Tool, and you could disable cupboards with something like crafting controller, just disable the crafting of it. Otherwise, what else are you wanting?
