Personally, I'm with Gameservers. The service is alright i suppose, although we are having issues with performance when the server fills up. I run a 40 slot and when it gets close to full, we have issues here and there, even after a map wipe performance has been lackluster.
So, who is your host? What is the performance like at peak hours? Is it just current state of optimization on the new map (I really hope its this. Moving hosts isn't difficult, its annoying.) I know Gameservers isn't typically viewed as the most quality as they seem to focus on quantity. Any hosts that don't do this?
For curiosity's sake, who is your host?

I rent a VPS Cloud from OVH.com
Gives you a Windows 2012 R2 server to do with what you please.
I got the VPS Cloud 2 for $22.99 a month.
You can set what ever you like for slots. The cool thing is if you run out of power you can just upgrade to get more RAM. -
bluefangsolutions.
simple, full ftp access. never had opened a support ticket once. -
I've rented a dedicated server from Soyoustart (an OVH division). Pretty great to be honest. Especially if you're running multiple game servers.

My first server was via ovh -> serverpronto, even though the hardware was cheap to rent the network was blackballed on a lot of networks.. I moved away there eventually and bought a server that's hosted in a data center.

First server was from gameservers and we only originally bought from them cause their cheap and I just wanted something for me and a few friends to play without abusing admins etc But server grown and a community formed and now we moved to jestservers simply cause they run their hardware on powerful dedicated servers with ssd's which gives us the option to pay a little extra to reserve a cpu core just for us and it runs like a charm.

Thanks for all the replies, a bit late to be getting back. We ended up leaving gameservers and rent a box in a datacenter. Allowed us to expand to ARK and RUST as well. Added a second RoK server too. The difference is uncanny. Too bad alpha 18 is so buggy at the moment.
