Hello there,
I'm sure you are very tired of hearing this, but I cannot get oxide to install for some reason or another, and would graciously accept any guidance.
Steps I take in creating the server:
1. Extract contents of the basic .zip file from the Rust homepage to a folder.
2. Alter Run_DS.bat to my liking, while adhering to proper syntax, then execute.
![]()
3. Once finished installing, I extract the contents of the Oxide-Rust.zip folder into rustds (the folder created by Run_DS.bat, which houses RustDedicated.exe) and overwrite when prompted.
![]()
4. After running Run_DS.bat once more, the "Oxide" folder is not created inside the server identity (velius) folder, and there is no indication that Oxide is running on the server.
I am at a complete loss.
Solved Following directions to a tee, Oxide won't install

Removing the updating, that will uninstall Oxide every time you run it. Oxide is a mod, it needs to always be installed after any updates.

I will try that and post results. Thank you for getting back to me.
