1. There is a way to know how of the Plugins installed are consuming more memory, and if its consuming more than expected because some error? Then you can administrate better or choice if you want ot keep or not.

I just installed LOGGER to get more info, but its lagged the srv and goes down inmediatly :(

  2. There is currently no way to accomplish this as loaded plugins are essentially part of the game.
Either way, it would be very difficult.
Logger has no significant memory overhead.
The issue might be caused by the fact that logger uses I/O, although it shouldn't be that terrible that the server goes down immediately, maybe just drop a few frames.

  3. If your machine does not have good resources like mine, you should check plugin by plugin.
I don't think your server goes down because of a plugin. Maybe in some rare cases.
If the real problem is that your server is going down there are a lot things that may cause this.

  4. I think that was casual random problem...
because all is working fine now, with 40.000 entities and 20 players average...
I only want to know how to be prepared for a future mayor issue
I think that with a I3 and 16gb 1866 cl9 is enough, I want to add a SSD disk then maybe will be increase the performance a bit

  5. With an SSD you will only notice performance changes when the map is being generated and server starting.

  6. I have running the server on intel i3 16gb 1866 and crappy hard disk. 5mb upload

I think the ram is running at 1333mhz that the mobo have as default but can be pushed with OC to 1866mhz, maybe I will touch this soon

  7. Your cpu specs are not a problem.
But with your upstream connection you can only handle like 10 players. No much more than that.
If you aim to get more than 10-15 players you should make a huge connection upgrade.

  8. This is incorrect.
Logger will certainly be more performant when using an SSD.
Logging huge amounts of data can be way worse for server perf with an HDD than an SSD.

Rust is mainly about single core performance, 2.6GHz is pretty weak for Rust (I remember 3.3GHz barely handling 40 players at once).
Not sure about upload. Games usually don't require that much bandwidth, but Rust requires a lot when connecting, so it might lag out other clients.

  9. ok, I can upgrade that, but take in count that I runned 20 players like a charm, but I want to be prepared I want run 2 servers on that rig
1 modded at my way ,and 1 pure PVP Hardcore with arenas

but... saw you that I told 5mb dedicated to UPLOAD?
is not may down, my download is 25mb/s

1 CORE? dafuq? realy, can be configured for take advantage of all the cpu?
I can buy some I7 of 4ghz but Will be a waste if only use 1 core. What you recommend respect to handle more users?

[NOTE: with 20 users I never got 90 or 100% cpu usage]

About the SSD I think you are right, because the W/R is all time, I can advice this on my HDD, I think SSD will be A lot better

and with 5mb/s im almost sure that im fine because if you see on console, the packets are at max 50kb 100kb, not much more

  10. No, you can't configure it to use all cores.
Unity can in theory utilize two cores, from my experience Rust only uses a single one for the most part, though.

  11. I want to launch an insult... dam

well... At least I can look for run all the process of system at the other 3 cores, and let the "Core 0" for the RustDedicated.exe process, right?
Think u that is a good idea? Can Windows do that?

  12. You can restrict certain processes to certain cores, yes.

  13. Know u how to do this? or have you an idea?
