That should be fixed in the Rust dev branch, which should have already had a release made for it.

  3. I run a server and today i patched the oxide and restarted the server... well after that.. stones and wood external doors collapses instantly after placing them... and of course the old doors collapsed when the server started... 0.o So was bad idea to patch Oxide???

You're using an outdated build of Oxide from the sound of it. The issue you mentioned is from an old Rust version that is fixed in the latest Rust version. Oxide is a mod, so if you use an old build, you're essentially downgrading your server.

  5. THANKS GAMESERVER for downgrading my server... -_- i clicked "download oxide" to get the new version... and seems they haven have it yet so... Thanks

They should be pulling directly from our GitHub snapshots, so they should have the latest. The Rust build version should be 729.82, which you can find by using the "version" console command via RCON.

  7. I updated to a new version of oxide last night. Now stone gates do not deploy. Structures and deployables work fine. Stone gates insta-demolish as soon as they're placed. Where should I start?

You're using an outdated build, which in turn is an outdated Rust version. Updating to the latest would solve it.

  9. Thanks and sorry for the misshap

If you're installing Oxide, you're likely using an old Oxide build.

  12. So i just recently (like a few hours ago) added the newest Oxide 2 for Rust and everything loads up all fine and dandy, plug ins i got, all that..except wooden & stone gates.
No matter where placed, they break, and the ones that were already placed(such as the one in front of my house) were removed completely.
I thought it might have been the plug in i added, so i removed it & nothing changed, so obviously it must be Oxide, either that or i did something wrong.
    any help?
i get no errors in the console saying i cant place it or anything.

Make sure you are fully updated. That was a Rust bug that was fixed a few updates ago. It's likely that you're using an outdated Oxide build meant for the older Rust version. Oxide is a mod, so it needs to be current with version of Rust you are targeting, otherwise you will downgrade your server.

You can check the version you are running by using the 'version' console command. The latest Rust release build is 730.87.

  14. So since i just got the most recent update of oxide(the Friday update) and this is happening; that would most likely point to my server not being up to date?

I'd recommend following the step above to check your version. If gates are still breaking, it is highly likely your server is not actually on the latest.

  16. oh sorry about that, apparently my eyes skimmed over you saying to do the console command to check, thank you so much!

sad face. just checked compatibility. they're both up to date but the glitch is still happening. both builds of 730.87
or so they seem to be.
i downloaded and installed the latest build of Oxide which is for 730.87, then i did the version check which also says 730.87, should i try updating my server?

If you're fully updated, then it's likely that Rust is still bugging sometimes with them. Oxide alone doesn't touch anything, so it's either a plugin or Rust, but more likely Rust being as it was a bug recently with it.
