You have your server installed under Release, so you installed the mod in the wrong location. Look in the Release folder.

  5. Is this correct?

do I have to create the Oxide plugins folder? I see in game now when I give the "/give" cmd it now says server: unknown cmd "give" which didnt before so I believe oxide is installed properly now?

It looks like you are missing the Rust server entirely. The Oxide mod cannot run by itself, so make sure you are putting the files in the right location. The previous location was likely the right one, but I recommend you just start fresh and place the files in the right location.

  7. i give up.....lol I reinstalled the server and oxide, still cannot find a oxide plugins folder.

The mod has to go in the right place and replace the old files, otherwise it is not created. If you follow the steps provided in the tutorial for it, it will work fine.

  11. Im stumped again. I dont understand what path you want when it says force_install_dir <path> Can I get a i.e? I have tried path to my computer and the server ip.... I am really about to give up on this.
[DOUBLEPOST=1419306993][/DOUBLEPOST]Woooooo... I am not running this server myself. I have Dedicated server through OorahGaming, They have put oxide mod up via TCadmin and I have installed that way. And all I have is access to the server via TCadmin.
[DOUBLEPOST=1419307056][/DOUBLEPOST]So do i still need to do all this and change router settings?
[DOUBLEPOST=1419307827][/DOUBLEPOST]Im done. screw this. We have a dedicated server through a host, I dont understand why you said i am missing my rust server entirely when that was the damn rust server I took a screen shot of.
Look1 TCadmin Control panel for my rust server.
Look2 File manager of my Rust server.
Look3 SS of my rust server files via TCadmin with oxide installed.
Look4 Mod Manager for my Rust server via TCadmin.

So am I this stupid that I cant figure this out or have we been going down the wrong path here?

The screenshots you've shown me show old and new folder structures, so it is hard to tell where you actually have the root server at. The install of the Oxide 2 mod is pretty straightforward though, with it basically being extracted to the root of where your server is. The plugin directory is created when you start your server with the mod installed, and is located where I mentioned in one if my previous posts. If your server doesn't start or you do not see Oxide running in your logs, then you did not install it correctly, or your host is missing Visual C++ 2012 x64.

  13. So you can understand my frustration coming from back in the day RUST w/OxideMod and coming to this Exp RUST with the server files a mess. I will relay this to my server host.
