Editing oxide.user.json

    I am trying to make it so i am an admin under the oxide.user.json but every time I change "player" to "admin" it resets it anyone know why or if I am doing it wrong

    It's not meant to be manually edited. Use the "oxide.usergroup add playername groupname" console command instead. Also, is the player set as an "owner" in Rust's config files?

    Yes I do and also why isnt /help working is that another plugin or does it come default with oxide ?

    You need the Help Text plugin. Oxide doesn't provide a help system on its own yet.

    That plugin doesn't use the Oxide permission system, only Rust's auth level system. You'd need to be set as a moderator or admin via Rust. http://oxidemod.org/threads/admin-and-moderators-in-rust-experimental.6520/

    For further help with specific plugins, please use each plugin's thread.

    I did that but now it empty and i cannot add my permissions back in
