I can't seem to let go of the corpses. Just left click/use and it's connected to me. I don't have to hold down the mouse button. Repeating the drag action doesn't leg do either. Otherwise this is an awesome plugin. You can take the body to a safer location and gather the loot. This'll be going on all my servers.

 

Not sure what you mean When I use it, it will stay attached as long as you hold down left mouse button, and let go when you let go of the mouse button.

 

I'm just running it on my test server and using it on bots. So that might have something to do with it.

Edit: I gave it another unload/reload and it's working properly.

 

Can comfirm players can't let go of bodies.

wait there are no perms on this and anyone can drag anyone?

I don't think calling his plugin useless is the right approach here. From what I can tell his plugin works exactly as intended. If you want something added just ask, be polite. There shouldn't be a need to call a free plugin useless when he took his time to make it for the community (For Free)

 

sigh .......some people dont get me......my friends do.......I am straight shooting, i tell it how i see it. I know Jake, and i dont think he took it the wrong way......if so i apologize, but the fact is, what server owner is going to put this in their server when ( in my opinion, without perms) its a griefing tool that players will exploit and cause headaches for the admin and the victim.

When a player dies he knows where his bag should be......UNLESS he gave perms for his clan or friends to drag him to a safe place. THAT is what i think Jake intended .....but he can answer this himself. By allowing other players will no good intention to drag a corpse off a cliff into the water or hide is only going to cause issues for the admin. " ADMIN , I died right near this rock but my corpse it gone?" Really? EVERY game that has this drag corpse feature is for clan or friends to HELP the player get his stuff back........not cause more grief than we already have. See.......when i first started playing rust and to this day....I am still shocked how rude and down right disgusting a LOT of rust players are......I THINK a lot of kids forget that we are ALL fellow gamers that have a passion for video games........RUST IS NOT ABOUT being salty and KOSing and being down right MEAN. RUST IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT>>>>>>>> SO again, this plugin is useless without perms.......and Jake I would ask you to please put perms in to allow only friends and clan or all .....THEN it will be complete and a GREAT plugin.

 

Make this for friends and clan members only . Also no draging when you are sprinting and it will be perfect

 

I can see this as an option. I don't have an issue with players being able to drag anyone.

Permissions would be nice though.

 

Question? can you pickup sleeping players of they have logged or crashed? or have been raided and taken to my dungeon muwhahaha
