Doors blocked by planks

Hi

I wasn't able to find a solution to this anywhere, but I'm having some issues on my server with this. There's planks that spawn in front of doors and openings at monuments, this is fine, but the problem that I have is that there's usually more than 10-20 planks in front of the door. I want there to only be one plank per opening. We tried cutting through these planks and it took us around five minutes and 6 hatchets.
It's pretty annoying, specially because some buildings have these all around the entrances and it feels like little is rewarded if you actually manage to get through these planks.

Anyone who has any solution to this, is there a way to keep only 1?
