installed and instantly everyone on the server couldn't open their own doors even after the group "player" was givin the canShareDoors permission

 

Do you have building owners installed? If so, did you just install it? Doors must be built with the building owners plugin already installed so that they are assigned an owner therefor allowing this plugin to identify the owner of the door and allow them to open it.

 

Same here and yes we use buildingowners.... no one can open their doors

 

I cannot seem to replicate this problem. Any errors or messages given to the player or console?

 

I've had building owners installed forever but not sure if it fully works anymore because for a while if I try and use the finddoors playername command with the find plugin it tells me I need to have building owners installed but it is

 

I just checked my building owners, all up to date. I tried the plugin again, no one can open their doors apart from admin
[DOUBLEPOST=1437511921][/DOUBLEPOST]and I checked my oxidegroups.json file and the player group does have the cansharedoors permission.

No errors anywhere either....

 

The plugin works - only if you build a house after installing the plugin!
You can do that through the open door the plugin and open through the password?

 

I have tried and still fail to recreate this problem. Even building before loading this plugin still works. For those of you having a problem, please use the debug file below. Once loaded, have several players try to open doors, share them, unshare, have their friends open doors, etc. Once run for long enough, please post your oxide/logs/DoorShareDebug.txt file so that I can see what is happening. Thanks.

 

HI there,

the plugin works and gets the owners. The problem is, that you have to open the door from a specific angle .... i can not open it from everywhere (like staying left or right to it and click on the door). Why that is i do not know.

Hello. I tried opening doors from every angle I could and it always worked for me. I'm not sure what the problem there is.

 

I have this plugin does not work . On konmady does not respond as simply silence ... resolution added .

 

There are some problems with this plugin:

1) If someone already had access to a door before installing the plugin (had typed the code), after you install the plugin, the person can't open the door that he had access before, only if you add him on the share list. Removing the plugin makes this issue disappear.

2) When you add/remove someone from your share list, you get the warning about removing the person and ALSO get the warning about yourself removing it, when the target should get the message instead of you lol.

 

Thanks for the information. For one, could you please use the debug version above and follow the instructions. By the sounds of it, it is not finding the owner of the door, which it should be. I had no problems trying to recreate this problem.

For two, already fixed and will be included in the next update. lol

 

Suggestion: Admin override would be nice. Maybe with authlevel or permissions.

 

Do you mean so that admins can open any door? If so, you can use the Master Key plugin for that but I could also include it in this.

 

I am using AdminDoorUnlocker on my server, because i had some issues with Master Key. I would like it, if you could add a little admin override

I like your work. I had to do a server wipe yesterday and since then your share plg runs perfectly with no issues so far

I have had an issue with Door Share that players were wasn`t able to open shared doors or doors placed on the ally`s foundation, even when lock was in "green/open" mode. So I removed it so far(.
English is not my native language, so don`t be mad on mistakes).

i just had a server restart. After that a couple of players complain that they cant open the doors anymore. I had a look in the data file and it looks like that it did not save everything before restart.
